BTwins, this generation's newest OPM sweethearts
After patiently waiting for that elusive spotlight, BTwins, formerly known as Behagan Twins, is now taking the Pinoy pop centerstage with the anticipated release of their very first single “Kulang Na Kulang” under Ivory Music.
Reminiscent of late 90’s pop sensation M2M who gave us monster hits like Pretty Boy, BTwins is composed of identical twins Jayhuan and Jaythu Behagan.
BTwins fell in love with music at a very young age mainly because of their dad. The older Behagan prodded her girls to sing and perform during karaoke sessions at home. The siblings’ love for music grew each day and their desire to learn paved the way for the twins to hone other musical talents like playing the guitar and writing songs. Like many girls their age, they look up to the likes of Pop Star Royalty Sarah Geronimo, Yeng Constantino, Jona and no less than the Broadway diva herself, Lea Salonga. Their playlist won’t be complete without the songs of international superstars such as Ariana Grande, Beyonce and Rihanna.
BTwins had their first taste of showbiz spotlight a few years ago when they were invited to perform in a number of TV shows most notably ASAP and It’s Showtime primarily because of their viral covers on Youtube. Just recently, BTwins achieved their biggest milestone so far by being a part of Coke Studio Season 3 where they got to collaborate with seasoned performers and musicians. Now ready as they’ll ever be, BTwins is poised to win more hearts with their sweet and charming voices highlighted in their beautiful rendition of “Kulang Na Kulang”.
